Two leftist militants killed, one injured in central Turkey "Two leftist militants were killed and another injured in a clash with Turkish soldiers in central Turkey, an official said Friday. Paramilitary police on Thursday encountered the militants near the central Anatolian city of Tokat, some 400 kilometers east of Ankara, and demanded their surrender, but the militants opened fire, a paramilitary police officer said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
